ABATE OF ILLINOIS MISSION

The mission of ABATE of Illinois is to preserve the universal right to a safe unrestricted, motorcycling environment, and to propose and advocate actions that can be taken by elected and appointed officials to protect and conserve the natural resources of the State of Illinois, and insure through professional management that sustainable use, recreational opportunites and enjoyment of these resources is available for this and future generations.

To fulfill this Mission we will:

Safeguard the rights of ALL motorcyclists
Endorse safety programs and education programs
Promote unity through involvement
Advocate political awareness and activisim
Promote motorcycling enjoyment

ABATE of Illinois, Inc. is a non-profit organization that allows all riders to unite in A Brotherhood Aimed Toward Education.

ABATE works to safeguard our mororcycling rights, while allowing us to be individuals with different views.

ABATE's main concern is putting motorcycle legislation in its proper perspective. This is being done through motorcycle safety education programs, public awareness programs, and other programs designed to prevent injury or fatal accidents to motorcyclists.

ABATE keeps the legislature informed of our position on any legislation that is unfair or discriminatory towards motorcyclists.

ABATE works closely with motorcycle rights organiztions across the nation.

Our Mission Statement means that we are dedicated to protecting the rights of all motorcyclists, both street and trail riders and we intend to continue to do just that.
